Through a new strategic partnership with Radial Power, OnSwitch is targeting to develop 100 MW of onsite solar capacity over the next 2 years.

OnSwitch is seeking a Sales Analyst who has strong analytical skills and understanding of sales, and a desire for career growth as a key part of a mission-driven and sales-focused company. The Sales Analyst will report to OnSwitch’s VP of Business Development, working closely with the VP of Business Development, sales team, and Sales Operations team, and Radial Power’s team. This position is remote based.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the analysis, roll-out, tracking of new sales offers, such as domestic content components, solar + energy storage, strategic partner power purchase agreements, and community solar to OnSwitch enterprise customers
  • Provide analysis for evaluation of new business segments
  • Research new and monitor existing target solar markets at the state level (6-10 states) for changes in utility rates, incentives, renewable energy credit programs, regions qualifying for solar Investment Tax Credit adders, and net metering policies
  • Periodically analyze sales team activities, sales contracts and quotes to determine hit rates, top market segments, effectiveness of different value propositions, sources of leads, competitiveness in the industry, etc. Draw conclusions and recommend actions for improving sales processes
  • Maintain and run internal quote price approval model for the sales team. Continuously identify ways to streamline and simplify processes to achieve faster sales quote turnaround
  • Maintain and run sales proforma templates and financing models (for power purchase agreement offers).
  • Work closely with the sales team on creative deal structuring and bid strategy
  • Work closely with sales operations team (overseas) to evolve processes and leverage staff support
  • Maintain technical content of sales collateral

Skills and Qualifications

  • BS/BA in a business or technical field. MBA a plus
  • Experience in a sales, sales support, or finance position selling or supporting a complex offer, and in sales analysis or financial analysis
  • Solar experience and solar financing (power purchase agreements) experience a plus.
  • Very high proficiency in Excel and strong financial modeling skills.
  • Experience utilizing CRM tools, Hubspot and Salesforce.com is a plus
  • Desire and high ability to work in a collaborative team environment at a small, fast-growing company

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation will be primarily a base salary but also a commission plan tied to dollar amount of project sales agreements executed by the sales team.
